My new acquisition: a 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor. Yes, this is a real ex-police car with only 21,700 miles on it. This car has the exact same drive train as the Ford SHO, an Eco Boost 3.5 V6 with twin turbos outputting 365 HP and AWD. This car famously raced a Mustang GT in the quarter mile and almost beat it – the Mustang only caught up in the last hundred feet or so.
The car is rock solid and blindingly fast. 0-60 MPH – 5.66 seconds and quarter mile time of 13.5 seconds.
